Chelsea Rodas, Supervisee in Clinical Social Work
Chelsea Rodas (she/her) is a Supervisee in Clinical Social Work with the Virginia Board of Social Work, completing supervision toward independent licensure. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University.
Chelsea provides trauma-informed, culturally humble, and affirming care for adults, recognizing the impact of social, cultural, and systemic factors on mental health and well-being. She works with clients navigating trauma, relational stress, identity-related concerns, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Chelsea’s approach is relational and person-centered, rooted in empathy, attunement, and collaboration. She primarily draws from Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, while integrating other evidence-based strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. She alsoincorporates holistic and somatic techniques, including mindfulness and nervous system regulation tools, to support emotional awareness and stress management.
In session, Chelsea fosters a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, examine core beliefs, strengthen self-compassion, and build skills rooted in their personal strengths. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is committed to providing inclusive care that honors the whole person and promotes meaningful growth,
