She grew up in Norfolk and has a heart for the unique difficulties faced by military families. Claire is a clinical member of The Headstrong Project, providing trauma-informed mental health care to military members, families, and veterans. Claire ascribes to an Eastern Biblical perspective for care in which attachment love is the most powerful healing force, every person is created in the image of God, creation is “very good,” and redemption is available to all people. Claire finds great joy in helping people discover the truth of their profound value.

Beyond her therapy work, Claire loves spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing pickleball, reading, and swimming.
